Unfortunately the last two weeks have been extremely busy so I’ve not had the opportunity for a proper weekly update. However, there were two highlights I wanted to share.
First and foremost, I had a great meeting with my colleagues at our marketing office in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. I’ve been working much closer with the office and exploring ways in which the company can work directly with the Canadian Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) community specifically. We’ve formulated and agreed upon a number of initiatives in 2014 that I am excited to execute. I’m happy to report that I have been successful in establishing an even stronger bond between LEGO Canada, Inc. and the LEGO Community team! 🙂
Secondly, my colleagues over on ReBrick have launched a very neat competition building upon the excitement over The LEGO Movie! ReBrick, the social bookmaking site for LEGO fans, is inviting builders to share their alternative models for a chance to win an exclusive prize package, including a golden Emmet statuette, a LEGO Movie Promotional tin, and a signed LEGO Movie set. All you need to do is build an original model from a LEGO set and submit it to ReBrick before March 31st! The full rules can be found on the ReBrick blog here: http://rebrick.it/special
Well, that’s all you get from me this time. Back to work!
